Gabriel is a senior B2B strategic relationship builder and connector, with nearly three decades’ experience, who has been directly involved in scaling businesses, including startups, commercial companies and non-profit organisations. Prior to embarking on his healthcare journey more than a decade ago (Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Digital Health, Health IT), Gabriel held several senior leadership positions in the field of marketing, market research and business intelligence. Gabriel is currently the Director, Strategic Partnerships at the Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed). He enjoys building positive relationships, facilitating & implementing industry development initiatives, and driving engagements & partnerships with innovative MedTech and HealthTech companies. Gabriel is passionate about engaging the healthcare ecosystem to bring innovations and technologies more quickly to the markets. Gabriel also serves as a member of the Executive Committee for Health Level Seven (HL7) Singapore and the Asia Pacific Assistive Robotics Association; is a member of the Asia eHealth Information Network (AeHIN). He also held two-terms as an Executive Committee member of the Association for Medical and Bio-Informatics, Singapore (AMBIS). Gabriel holds a Master of Science in Information Studies from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of London, and was conferred the Certified Professional Marketer by Asia Marketing Federation.

Huyen Duc is a veteran visual designer, filmmaker, and media producer for the international game and film industry for the past 15 years. He’s known within the industry for his innovation and advocacy for professionalism & technology breakthroughs. Some of his notable works are several Star Wars installments and recent Vietnamese feature films including Lat Mat 6, Mat Biec & Em va Trinh. Duc’s currently working as Media Producer for Sky Mavis, a leading company in blockchain technology, Duc is also a consultant for ILMxLAB and Oscar Awards Sci-Tec Council where he’s specialized in Machine-Learning and Solid-State-Lighting applications.

Binh Bong Bot (or Tran Minh) is a screenwriter, journalist, and translator loved for his humor and grace. He is the author behind many great and famous interviews on Kenh14. Before becoming famous as a screenwriter, Binh Bong Bot was known to many people through his in-depth analysis in the fields of film, sports, art and society. With a witty but sharp voice, his articles always attract the attention of a large audience. He believes that quality writing is respect to readers. Therefore, he is always careful, meticulous, and refined with his words so that his message is conveyed to the fullest. Despite being successful in journalism and advertising, Binh Bong Bot suddenly shifted the direction of his career into film making. Over the past year, he has been successful as a screenwriter. Although he just started his career as a screenwriter, he already has 6 screenplays: 30 is not Tet yet, Blood Moon Party, Trang Ti, Guardian Angel, Sister Muoi Ba (part 2), and Em and Trinh.

RYO Band (English)

• Formed in April 2019, RYO band consists of 7 members including two main vocals and other instrumental members. RYO band pursues the music of EDM, Pop Rock, Rock Alternative… and covers US-UK music, Vietnamese music, and Green Wave 8x-9x.
• The group’s mission is to bring positive energy and youth when performing music.
• Although only operating for a few years, RYO has gained a significant number of audiences, being invited to perform at many important shows and events of the city.

The Design and Preparation of Biomaterials for Biological, Medical, and Pharmaceutical Applications.

Associate Professor Nguyen Thi Hiep got her Ph.D. from SoonChunHyang University in South Korea in 2012. Prof. Hiep returned to Vietnam shortly after graduation to establish the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine lab at School of Biomedical Engineering – International University – Vietnam National University HCM and to pursue her research interests in biomaterials fabrication. Prof. Hiep has published over 90 articles that have been indexed in the ISI and Scopus systems, 15 domestic papers, 3 book chapters, 80 papers in international conferences, and 3 granted patents. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on the design and preparation of biomaterials for biological, medical, and pharmaceutical applications, bringing together the fields of materials science, pharmaceutical science, cells therapy, basic and clinical medicine.

Currently, Prof. Hiep is the Dean of the School of Biomedical Engineering at International University, VNU-HCMC. Prof. Hiep has participated in over 20 research grants at different levels both domestically and internationally. Especially, she received many Awards and Prizes from different agents such as the National Fellowship Award from L’Oreal UNESCO for Women Science (2016); the winner of the ASEAN-US Science Prize for Women Science (2017); the International Rising Talent of the L’Oreal UNESCO for Women Science (2018); the first prize in Innovation Awards Ho Chi Minh City and was named among the Top 100 most outstanding scientists in Asia released by Singapore’s Asian Scientist magazine in 2019.

She has also been invited to several public speaking engagements to promote women in science, such as STEM conferences, which highlight the accomplishments of women in STEM and inspire, educate, and connect women in the science, technology, engineering, and math communities. Besides, she has been nominated for various events to encourage young people to do research, such as the Chat with Scientists program organized by Oxford University in Vietnam and GYSS2017 in Singapore.
